While these teams could win, you aren't exactly playing the odds when you are just betting on your team.

While you could get lucky betting on your team, it's a much safer bet to go with the team that has the best chance of winning. If your team is starting a first time quarterback there is a good chance they aren't going to win. If you put money down on them to do so, well, you aren't playing the odds in fact you need to study the line movements to come out on top.
